Technica Engineering is a technology company specialized in the development, validation and verification of software and electronic solutions in the automotive sector. With a strong focus on technologies like Automotive Ethernet and the development of ECUs, we bring technical consulting services in areas such as ADAS, onboard networks, gateways and comfort and security functions.
We are currently offering you a position as an Automotive Ethernet Test Engineer in Cybersecurity with permanent employment in Vigo, Spain. The ideal applicant has a background in programming, telecommunications or electronics and already has experience in the daily tasks related to testing or concept design.
Job requirements
* Professional experience in automotive telecommunications or software development industry.
* Engineering background (Preferable Telecommunications or Computer Science).
* At least a B2 English level.
Nice to have
* Expertise in cybersecurity functions and/or protocols (e.G., Secure Boot, Certificates, IPsec, MACsec, TLS).
* Good OO programming skills in Python, C or C#.
* Good understanding of technical development processes for embedded software development, vehicle development, and testing.
* ISTQB certification is desired.
What will your tasks be
* Analysis of the requirement specifications and design specifications of our customers in the automotive industry.
* Test planning, definition and implementation of test concepts and test cases for embedded systems in vehicles.
* Commissioning and implementation of ECU tests on HIL and PIL simulation.
* Development of automated test cases and test frameworks.
* Planning and implementation of embedded systems and component tests with regard to specifications.
* Use of Technica Engineering's own products as test tools.
