Overview
Interlocking delivery engineer role at Siemens. The Interlocking delivery manager engineer leads the engineering of electronic interlocking systems for Customer projects in Siemens Mobility, responsible for the delivery of the interlocking system, leading the design, implementation and commissioning of electronic interlocking solutions complying with project requirements, and coordinating related activities across the project life cycle.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
* Responsible for the scheduling, execution, and follow up of all the interlocking engineering works, ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality and cost.
* Coordinate all project areas, other delivery managers, hardware team and technical office.
* Understand customer-specific interlocking requirements and reconcile any deviations.
* Manage interlocking requirements implementation.
* Implement interlocking-specific applications according to generic application rules.
* Create/Maintain design documentation according to EN50128 and EN 50126.
* Be accountable for the interlocking-specific applications allocated to the role.
* Work closely with other teams and team members to ensure aligned delivery.
* Collaborate with HQ segments when required.
* Contribute to dissemination/implementation of new processes within the organization.
* Contribute to project completion to meet business objectives.
* Support and participate in strategic initiatives of the Interlocking CoC and Engineering department when required.
Requirements - Experience
* Experience in requirements management, specification and traceability.
* Experience as Interlocking signaling engineer, implementing the application of the subsystem in projects, minimum 5 years.
* Specific knowledge of interlocking systems for main line or mass transit lines.
* English and Spanish spoken, reading and writing at an advanced level.
