Job OverviewThis role is fully on-site at the Distribution Centre in Cheste, serving more than 230 stores and thousands of online customers across Spain and Portugal.
Responsibilities
Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations, with special focus on Transport, Consolidation, Wrapping, Replenishment, and Loading.
Negotiate and manage agreements with temporary employment agencies.
Ensure accurate and efficient picking processes, both online and paper-based.
Work in line with continuous improvement principles.
Optimize operations while keeping costs under control.
Compile, monitor, and ensure compliance with budgets and objectives.
Guarantee a high level of service for our customers.
Actively use and promote the right to speak up.
Ensure correct storage of articles.
Make sure all relevant information is shared with Team Leaders and accessible to operational employees.
Secure two‐way communication between Online Operations and JYSK Management.
Ensure on‐time deliveries to carriers.
Maintain effective communication between Outbound Operations and JYSK Management.
Provide a clear understanding of tasks, responsibilities, and required competencies.
Ensure clear and up‐to‐date functional job descriptions at all levels.
Prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure optimal department performance.
Lead, motivate, evaluate, and develop your team.
Ensure proper training and development of employees.
Share best practices across functions, departments, and other Distribution Centres.
Develop and maintain an efficient, professional, and well‐structured organization.
Build a motivated and skilled workforce, with strong focus on succession and pipeline development.
Promote a safe, healthy, and positive work environment.
Logistics & Supply Chain background: Practical experience is essential; an educational background is a strong plus.
Leadership experience: You are an experienced leader, and experience in planning is an advantage.
Analytical mindset: You enjoy understanding processes and making data‐driven decisions.
Versatility: You thrive in a dynamic role with a broad range of responsibilities, both as a leader and a facilitator.
Strong relationship builder: You are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and building strong collaborations.
