Global talent acquisition lead - digital business unit (madrid)

We are looking for a General Talent Acquisition Lead to oversee our IDT (Integrated Dental Technologies) Business Unit supporting activities globally. You would act as the guardian of the culture, diversity, skills and capabilities of the people and influence hiring globally across the global business unit and the wider organization.

You would work closely with IDT Leadership Team members personally leading Executive recruitment for a range of critical ‘Executive minus one’ roles. You would oversee the strategy for global hiring for IDT across multiple global locations primary in the USA, Canada, Spain, Germany, Poland, Brazil, Costa Rica and China. To support these, you would partner with the regional Join (Talent Acquisition) teams to support delivery and execution. IDT is a complex, global business unit which carries a real diversity of role types with a focus on Clinical Treatment Planning, Marketing and Education, Software and Hardware R&D;, Product Management and Sales roles. Annually you be accountable for approximately 300 hires globally and would report to the Global Head of Join.

You will be a member of the Global “Join Leadership team” at a time when the Global Talent Acquisition organization is going through transformation. You would be a “flag bearer” of the transformation involved in a range of projects, process mapping, model adoption initiatives, compliance, re-mapping roles and responsibilities, evolving TA service deliverables (pipelining, direct sourcing, employer branding), hiring manager training, brand ambassadorship, etc.

The role is based in our Madrid office in Spain. The role requires being in the office min 3 days a week ensuring strong collaboration and relationship management with our executive stakeholders, and being part of a growing team of TA Partners based in the Madrid location. Occasional travel to our Basel headquarters would be required.

Who we are looking for
- A seasoned Talent Acquisition Lead experienced in Executive recruitment and business consultancy. You should be able to work with remote teams to drive delivery of hiring, pushing for higher levels of delivery.
- Someone who is passionate about delivering impact, who can connect dots by understanding business needs, advise on market trends and use business consulting skills to coach and drive decision making.
- Understand external talent demographics and tell stories / develop targeted marketing tactics describing our purpose, growth opportunities and impact on the world. Encouraging leaders and employees to be brand ambassadors in video, web and social.
- Be a champion of diversity and inclusion, coaching managers to think broadly about “who” and “how” they hire understanding the value of diverse teams and mindsets.
- Act as a pioneer leveraging the best of internal practices but also challenging the status quo and offering new solutions, challenging the business to step outside the norm. Support the Talent Acquisition team to develop the capacity and capability to move the team from recruitment administration to talent acquisition excellence.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills to support the team deliver their day-to-day objectives whilst also carving out time for higher value project work.
- Confidence with recruitment technology (ATS, CRM, internal talent data, etc.) to support new tech implementation.
- Understanding KPIs and data to support analysis of hiring process efficiency and team performance.

What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 10 years or more in Talent Acquisition (mix of agency and corporate experience preferred) with exposure to full lifecycle recruitment, building up to a leadership role.
- Experience in Executive / Management hiring with a track record of direct sourcing. Commercial and manufacturing hiring experience preferred (in both volume and niche roles).
- Experience in leading others in a matrix environment. Using data-driven insights to measure performance, manage req loads, providing continuous improvement recommendations.
- Interviewing, assessment and selection champion. Coaching leaders and HR professionals about how to select talent for “need now”, growth and future capabilities.
- High proficiency in integrated recruitment systems (ATS & CRM). We use SAP SuccessFactors and
- Phenom People, experience in these platforms is a “nice to have”.
- Expertise in Agency / Search Firm supplier management and terms negotiation.
- Business level of English. Spanish or other languages would be an asset.
