Description of the Post
UVic-UCC is a young and very dynamic university in Central Catalonia, with a special commitment to quality teaching, innovative research and internationalization. The Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering is recruiting a Faculty Member (PhD I) in Biochemistry.
Functions and Duties
El candidato o candidata deberá impartir 30 créditos de docencia entre las siguientes asignaturas:
Bioquímica
Laboratorio de bioquímica
Biología molecular
Fisiología y Anatomía humana I
Fisiología y anatomía humana II
Laboratorio de biología molecular
Farmacología y toxicología Avanzadas
Tendrá que poder contar con una dimensión práctica y teórica el temario de las asignaturas defined here.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a PhD in Biochemistry or related fields and a recognized university degree in Bioquímica, Biología molecular or affiliated areas. Certification of Level C1 in Catalan or commitment to obtain it is required. University teaching experience at the university level and the ability to instruct subjects in English, requiring Level C1 in English or a commitment to obtain it, are also required. Level B2 or higher in other languages is a plus. Accreditation by an academic quality agency, research experience, and further merits are highly desirable.
Applicants whose qualifications have not been officially recognized in Spain must submit a declaration of equivalence issued in Spain, together with a Spanish translation of the qualification. The declaration must be submitted within a period of no more than three years;
failure to meet this requirement may lead to termination as per Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015.
