We're looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our international team at our service center in Sant Cugat de Vallès, Barcelona.
You'll be the front line of support for our customers, handling everything from order entry and expedites to quoting and returns. This role puts you at the heart of customer relationships, where you'll resolve inquiries, manage billing issues, and ensure every customer receives exceptional service. Working closely with sales teams and various departments, you'll help maintain smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Provide new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, and direct customers to resolution of issue.
- Provide customer services relating to sales, sales promotions, and communications.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints fairly & effectively & provide timely responses to customer inquiries via fax, phone, email, etc. and maintain metrics goals. Resolve more complex complaints escalated by customer/sales force.
- Setup Customer Accounts (CRM and SAP), this includes working with other segments to make sure we are set up for reporting and function related to customer needs.
- Examine documents (PO, drawings, specifications, etc.) working closely with various departments to ensure material is flowing through processes.
- Enter orders in SAP, attach documents and send acknowledgments.
- Respond to customer requests via phone or email.
- Maintain customer web-based interfaces i.e., portals (order retrieval, acknowledgments, uploading invoices, create ASN and labels).
- Maintain scheduling agreements &/or Quantity contracts.
- Work with accounting to resolve receivable issues.
- Entry and track of customer complaints.
- Overall Support for Sales &/or Plant: Stocking Agreements, subject to certain facilities; Consignment Agreements, subject to certain facilities; KANBAN.
Requirements
- Fluent in German and English (Hungarian is a plus).
- Previous experience in an office or service center role.
- University or technical/vocational studies.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Excellent Customer Service focus and ability to remain productive under pressure.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
