As Head of Core Business Solutions, you will lead one of our three applicative pillars, responsible for core enterprise applications (HR, Finance, Legal, corporate tools), with a strong focus on transforming our HR ecosystem. You will play a critical role in modernizing how we attract, manage, and develop talent, while ensuring alignment with Group-managed ERP platforms. Operating at the heart of the business, you will work closely with HR leadership, Group IT, and regional IT managers to transform aging HR and ATS solutions into a modern, scalable, and data-driven digital ecosystem, significantly improving employee experience and operational efficiency.

Job Purpose
As Head of CBS, you will define, lead, and execute the strategy for core enterprise applications across the region, while ensuring alignment with Group ERP governance. You will act as a transformation leader, driving the modernization of our HR digital landscape (ATS, HRIS, talent tools), and building a coherent, integrated, and future-proof ecosystem supporting the full employee lifecycle. Your mission includes addressing key challenges such as aging ATS solutions, fragmented HR tools, and the absence of a unified HRIS, while leveraging data and emerging AI capabilities to enhance recruitment, workforce management, and decision-making. You will lead a team of 6 to 8 professionals and operate through a mix of internal capabilities and strategic partners. You will also play a key role in IT and business governance bodies.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and drive the HR IS roadmap covering recruitment (ATS), core HR (HRIS), talent management, and employee lifecycle processes
• Lead the transformation or replacement of legacy core IT solutions, ensuring scalability, data quality, security, and user experience
• Drive the development of a unified, integrated, and data-driven HR ecosystem
• Promote a product-oriented approach, focusing on employee experience and measurable business value
• Leverage data and AI capabilities to improve efficiency, decision-making, and talent management Enterprise Applications Scope
• Oversee core business applications (Finance, Legal, corporate tools) ensuring alignment, consistency, and performance
• Ensure integration and coherence across enterprise platforms
• Support business stakeholders in evolving their digital capabilities ERP Alignment & Governance (Group-led)
• Act as the regional point of contact for ERP topics managed at Group level
• Represent regional needs in Group governance bodies and influence key decisions
• Ensure effective coordination between Group IT, regional teams, and business stakeholders
• Oversee ERP-related incidents and escalations Team Leadership & Organization • Lead, structure, and develop a team of 6–8 people, including domain leaders
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Develop capabilities in product ownership, functional expertise, and vendor management Vendor, Delivery & Governance Management
• Manage strategic vendors and system integrators through a structured partner model
• Ensure strong governance on budget, delivery, risks, and quality
• Drive application lifecycle management (performance, availability, compliance, security) Stakeholder Management & Communication
• Act as a trusted partner for HR executives, Finance, Legal, and IT leadership
• Provide clear decision support and executive-level communication
• Contribute actively to cross-pillar alignment within the CIO organization xsgfvud
Qualifications, Experience & Skills Education & Background
• Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong functional and IT background in HR Information Systems (ATS, HRIS, talent tools)
• Exposure to additional enterprise application domains beyond HR (e.g. CRM or other business solutions) will be considered a strong asset
• Solid understanding of ERP principles and enterprise application landscapes Experience
• 7+ years of experience in IT, including 3+ years in leadership roles
• Proven experience leading HRIS / ATS transformation programs
• Experience working in matrix organizations (Group vs regional governance)
• Exposure to international, multi-country environments Skills & Competencies

• Ability to bridge business (HR & corporate functions) and IT
• Product-oriented mindset with a focus on user experience and value delivery

Languages, Location & Work Model
• English is mandatory
• Spanish, Italian, or French is a strong plus
• Office-based role in Barcelona
