We attract and develop bold, agile, and entrepreneurial people who take full ownership of their decisions—leaders driven by the purpose of creating direct impact through their work and improving people’s lives.We offer our employees plenty of challenges and growth opportunities within a constantly evolving organization—one that is truly reshaping the rules of the game.At Ipsen, we are currently looking for a **Junior Medical Advisor in Rare Diseases (temporary position)** based in **Barcelona**.Following the company’s overall strategies, as well as all working procedures and policies (both local and corporate), applicable legislation, and ethical and compliance standards, the Junior Medical Advisor will provide scientific and medical support to Medical Managers and MSLs across Spain. This role is designed to develop medical expertise in rare diseases while contributing to the implementation of medical plans, evidence generation initiatives, and stakeholder engagement activities.**Your main responsibilities will include:****Medical & Scientific Support*** Support Rare Disease Medical Managers and MSLs in preparing scientific materials, presentations, and medical information for internal and external use.* Assist in the collection, analysis, and reporting of medical insights from field interactions.* Help maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Rare Diseases portfolio, scientific literature, and evolving clinical guidelines.* Support responses to medical queries from healthcare professionals under supervision.**Stakeholder Engagement Support*** Assist in organizing and coordinating advisory boards, scientific meetings, and medical training sessions.* Support bidirectional communication with external stakeholders, ensuring timely escalation of relevant insights to Medical Managers.**Evidence Generation & Project Support*** Support global and local clinical projects, non-interventional studies, and real-world evidence initiatives.* Assist in tracking and documenting medical and scientific activities, ensuring proper governance and compliance.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support medical strategy implementation.**Cross-Functional Collaboration & Training*** Work closely with Medical Managers, MSLs, and internal teams (Regulatory, Market Access, Commercial) to ensure scientific alignment.* Collaborate in internal training sessions and knowledge dissemination initiatives.* Contribute to internal reporting and documentation to support decision-making processes.**Compliance & Governance*** Ensure all activities comply with Ipsen policies, local regulations, and international ethical standards.* Support the review of medical content to guarantee accuracy, balance, and adherence to compliance requirements.**Education:*** Advanced scientific or medical degree (**MD, PharmD, PhD, or MSc in Life Sciences**).**Professional Experience:*** **1–2 years** of experience in **Medical Affairs, clinical research, or the pharmaceutical industry**; experience in **Rare Diseases** is a plus.* Understanding of the **Spanish healthcare system and hospital environment**.* Knowledge of **medical compliance and regulatory requirements**.Short-term contract.Thank you for considering Ipsen as an employer of choice.
