About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Finance & Business Analyst to join our Finance team. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn accounting and wants to gain exposure to project finance activities within an international and dynamic environment.
You will start by supporting daily accounting operations (invoice booking, reconciliations, supplier management, etc.) and progressively take part in financial analysis and reporting related to our project portfolio.
Main Responsibilities
Accounting & Administrative Tasks:
Process supplier invoices and ensure correct accounting coding.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Assist in bank reconciliations and review of general ledgers.
Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies.
Maintain orderly and updated accounting records and documentation.
Project Finance Exposure:
Support the preparation of budgets, financial models, project cash flows, and reports for lenders.
Assist in collecting and organizing financial information and technical data from project SPVs.
Participate in the preparation of periodic reports to banks and investors.
Gain understanding of project financing structures, debt service schedules, and financial covenants.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration .
0–2 years of experience in an accounting, finance, or audit position.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS or local GAAP).
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Navision, or similar).
Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about project finance.
