General R&D; SPARK is looking for a researcher with academic background in Computer Sciense, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Mechatronics or equivalent. As a Research engineer in the Mechatronics team, this person will directly be involved on transversal projects for improving the production processes on the different ArcelorMittal sites.
**Main Activities**
- Participate on R&D; projects for developing new solutions specially oriented to new facilities linked with decarbonization projects.
- Provide expertise on mechatronics and machine vision solutions (specially in Gijon).
- Design, organize and analyze process trials from lab to industrial scale.
- Interact with the whole ArcelorMittal community: Global R&D; specialists and technicians, plant experts, corporate teams, etc. and develop collaborative research with external partners (academic laboratories, technical centres, suppliers).
**What we will need**
- **Education**:Master in Computer engineer, Electrical Engineer, Telecommunications Engineering or Mechatronic Engineer.
- Competencies on computer vision, programming skills, industrial communications.
- Design of electrical components and sensors.
