At Spandex, we are growing and looking for a Supply Planner to join our team in Madrid or Barcelona. This role is ideal for a planning professional with 5 years of experience who is ready to take the next step and grow into a more strategic, ownership-driven position within a dynamic and global company.
About the role
As a Supply Planner, you will ensure optimal product availability across our network while minimizing inventory levels and costs. You will play a key role in balancing demand variability, supplier constraints, and service level targets to deliver an efficient and high-performing supply chain.
Key responsibilities
Supply & Inventory Planning
* Develop and manage purchase and replenishment plans based on demand forecasts
* Ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time
* Manage safety stock, reorder points, and service levels
* Optimize inventory turnover and reduce obsolescence and excess stock
* Lead and coach a team of 2 procurement agents
* Take ownership of large orders and strategic projects, including supplier negotiations
Supplier & Procurement Coordination
* Manage and follow up purchase orders with suppliers
* Monitor lead times, MOQs, and supplier performance
* Identify and mitigate supply risks proactively
* Collaborate with Procurement on supplier strategy and improvements
Planning & Analysis
* Analyze demand variability and collaborate with Sales and Product teams
* Track KPIs such as service level, inventory levels, backorders, and forecast accuracy
* Identify cost-saving and optimisation opportunities
Cross-functional Collaboration
* Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Finance teams
What we're looking for
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or similar
* 5 years of experience in Supply Planning or Inventory Management
Skills & Competences
* Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
* Advanced Excel
* ERP knowledge (SAP preferred)
Languages
* Spanish and English required
