We are currently looking for a
SeniorCAD Engineer – Console & IP (Cockpit)
to join international OEM projects within the vehicle interiors area, participating in the development and evolution of cockpit, console, and instrument panel plastic components.
We are seeking a profile with solid experience in automotive product development, advanced CATIA V5 expertise, and the ability to work cross-functionally with design, product engineering, industrialization, and supplier teams in international environments.
The position is mainly remote-based;
however, the selected candidate will be required to travel weekly to Paris (1–2 days per week) to attend technical meetings and collaborate directly with the customer's development center teams in France.
Main Responsibilities
CAD development of vehicle interior components and assemblies using CATIA V5.
Design and evolution of plastic parts related to Console, IP, and Cockpit systems.
Geometrical integration and validation of components within the vehicle environment.
Participate in technical reviews and product development follow-up activities.
Coordinate technical modifications with clients, suppliers, and multifunctional teams.
Manage design issues and propose technically feasible solutions.
Ensure compliance with OEM technical, industrial, and quality requirements.
Generate and update technical documentation related to CAD development.
Participate in the industrialization and technical maturation of interior components.
Maintain technical communication with international engineering teams.
Required Profile
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Automotive Engineering, or similar.
Minimum 5 years of experience in product development within the automotive sector.
Proven experience in plastic part design.
Advanced CATIA V5 proficiency.
Experience in vehicle interior development:
Console
Instrument Panel (IP)
Cockpit
Previous experience working with automotive OEMs.
Mandatory experience in Renault or Stellantis projects.
Ability to work in multicultural environments and international projects.
Availability for frequent business trips to France.
Autonomous profile with strong technical problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills.
Languages
High level of English is mandatory.
French is considered a plus.
