Role Summary
Technical Documentation Coordinator – Intern responsible for managing project documentation for hydraulic pump manufacturing operations at the Pozuelo Plant. Reports to the Major or Run‑Rate Projects Team Leader in Customer Service Order Fulfillment. The role includes coordinating document flow between internal departments and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project terms, and supporting client relations.
Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers and coordinate between Engineering and Quality departments regarding project documentation.
- Review documents to verify data integrity and resolve discrepancies with generators.
- Maintain document control records and ensure compliance with all applicable standards.
- Develop and maintain procedures for the production, approval, distribution, and modification of development documents.
- Ensure clear documentation requirements before project initiation.
- Create a detailed Document List with a delivery schedule, maintain an updated project documentation schedule and achieve 90 % or higher compliance with milestones.
- Manage documentation control for all projects, meeting deadlines throughout the lifecycle to avoid impacting shipments, invoices, and payments.
- Execute Original Equipment orders, ensuring that all deliverables meet client‑defined quality requirements.
- Provide customer‑focused responses, serving as a single point of contact for internal and external clients.
- Learn Flowserve products and internal workflows; support the Project Management Office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or ongoing study in Industrial Engineering (preferred); other engineering disciplines acceptable.
- Fluency in Spanish and high level of English; additional languages valued.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Windchill is a plus.
- Strong communication, adaptability, proactive attitude, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
