As one of the founding members of the Barcelona team, you will play a key role in shaping both the technical direction and the culture of the local office, while collaborating with teams across the globe.
Your responsibilities and impact as a Lead Full Stack Developer
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable full-stack and backend systems across multiple client projects and internal platforms
Develop and maintain APIs and services using Java (Spring Boot / Java EE) and/or Node.js (TypeScript)
Design and optimize relational database schemas (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
Oversee architecture and delivery across multiple web portals, APIs, and backend services (20+ repositories)
Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, etc.)
Drive the modernization of legacy applications and improve UI/UX across enterprise portals (React or Angular)
Support AI-driven features such as transcription, translation, and audio description enhancements
Ensure system performance, scalability, security, and reliability
You have 8+ years of experience in full-stack development, including technical leadership
You have strong experience in Java (Spring Boot / Java EE) and/or Node.js (TypeScript)
You are comfortable with React or Angular (TypeScript preferred)
You have strong knowledge of AWS cloud services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, etc.)
You have solid experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
You are fluent in English; Nice to have: serverless architecture, Docker, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), exposure to AI/ML or LLM-based features, media processing, or legacy system modernization
