**The Assets Data Officer role**:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Assets Data Officer!
Within this role you will input information onto the Asset Management System and support the work of the Asset Management team whilst assisting with the collection of current stock condition data, energy data, the design of survey data collection forms, the validation of collected data and the analysis of all collected stock data.
**Key duties and responsibilities of our Assets Data Officer**:
- Attend asset management system (NEC Asset Module) user group and take the lead on the implementation of good practice.
- Maintain systems, records, and databases to record and manage Berneslai Homes statutory obligations in term of Decent Homes Standard reporting.
- Liaise closely with the Repairs & Maintenance and Building Safety Teams and Asset Management Team to collate all component completions and tenant refusals across a range of programmes/initiatives. Input all information into the asset management system in a prompt manner.
- To produce regular reports on stock condition components and energy data.
- To produce scenario smoothing component replacement proposals linked to the requirements of Berneslai Homes/Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council 30-year Business Plan.
- Support the development and project management of Berneslai Homes annual stock condition and energy survey programme.
**What we’re looking for in our Assets Data Officer**:
- Experience of domestic housing construction and the principles of Asset Management.
- Experience of working with large datasets in a controlled environment.
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure stock condition data is collected, validated within project timescale.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent IT skills which can be used to monitor service delivery, programmes and budgets.
