Together, we are shaping the future of healthcare. /p h3About the Role /h3 pThe Head of Business Operations and Business Development will lead key operational and commercial initiatives across the EMEA region, ensuring streamlined performance, scalable growth, and long‑term business sustainability. This individual will play a pivotal role in executing our PET diagnostics strategy, managing operational excellence, and cultivating commercial opportunities in both mature and emerging markets. /p pReporting directly to the VP for Business Development, this role will collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Commercial, Finance, Regulatory, Quality, Legal, HR, and Supply Chain teams. The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands‑on leader with deep expertise in the radiopharmaceutical or healthcare diagnostics space and a strong track record of execution in complex, matrixed organizations. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 h3Strategic Operational Leadership /h3 ul liLead the operational execution and oversight of Radiopharma portfolio expansion across EMEA. /li liChampion LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives to drive productivity, reduce cost, and maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. /li liGuide operational readiness for infrastructure projects, network expansion, and new product launches. /li liDevelop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), business dashboards, and compliance metrics to support sustainable operations. /li /ul h3Business Development Growth Enablement /h3 ul liShape and execute the EMEA Radiopharma growth strategy by identifying new opportunities in PET diagnostics and theranostics. /li liEvaluate pipeline opportunities, lead negotiations, and secure new commercial contracts with pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, CROs, and biotech firms. /li liLead partnership development, onboarding, and account management across the region. /li liMonitor evolving market dynamics, regulatory trends, and customer needs to adapt strategy accordingly. /li liCollaborate with RD and portfolio teams to assess novel isotopes, biomarkers, and manufacturing models aligned with PETNET’s commercial capabilities. /li /ul h3Cross-functional and Executive Collaboration /h3 ul liServe as the primary operational interface between the EMEA Radiopharma business and global leadership functions. /li liDrive large‑scale programs such as the Joining Forces initiative, overseeing organizational harmonization and integration planning. /li liPartner with Finance and Country CFOs on budgeting, forecasting, and performance planning. /li liRepresent Radiopharma at strategic cross‑business meetings, steering committees, and industry forums. /li liChampion cultural integration, talent development, and capability building across the business. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or Pharmacy; MBA preferred. /li li10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in radiopharmaceuticals, diagnostics, or pharmaceutical operations. /li liProven expertise in business operations, business development, and program execution across regional or global settings. /li liIn‑depth understanding of regulatory compliance, GMP/GDP practices, and supply chain complexity in life sciences. /li liStrong commercial acumen and contract negotiation experience. /li liExcellent stakeholder engagement and executive‑level communication skills. /li liFluency in English is required; additional European languages are an asset. /li liWillingness to travel across EMEA up to 50 %. /li /ul h3Key Competencies /h3 ul liVisionary leadership with operational rigor and growth mindset. /li liFinancial acumen and ability to make data‑driven decisions. /li liInspirational team builder and cross‑cultural collaborator. /li liStrong strategic planning and change management skills. /li liCustomer‑centric thinking with commercial insight. /li liAble to navigate ambiguity and drive transformation in dynamic environments. /li /ul h3Why Join Us? /h3 ul liBe a part of an industry‑leading team working to transform patient care. /li liLead innovative projects that shape the future of molecular imaging. /li liCollaborate with world‑class professionals across a global healthcare network. /li liGrow your career within a purpose‑driven, innovation‑focused environment. /li /ul h3Who we are /h3 pWe are a team of more than 71,000 highly dedicated Healthineers in more than 70 countries.
