We are now seeking a Quality Control technician to help us further building the future of food. You will be based in Berga, Spain and report to the head of Quality control and be part of a great team of people based in our locations across Europe - Finland, UK, Belgium, Sweden, Estonia, Spain.
In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to the innovation, product development portfolio and quality of products in the local Spanish sites.
The QC Technician is responsible to carry out ground-level quality, research, and development tasks such as lab analysis and control of finished products and raw materials with special emphasis in quality validation, allergen, nutritional labeling and shelf life and report to the Quality Control Manager.
What will you do:
- Execute the Quality Control Plan set by the Head of Quality Control:
- Operational work in executing and conducting sample analyses as set by the Quality Control Plan at the local Spanish sites. Analyze the different parameters levels and quality indicators for raw materials (incoming from the suppliers) as well a finished product. Perform random checks in the production line (surface analysis or food analysis) and inbound sourced products.
- Report on lab results to the Quality Control Manager via Quality Control System/data sheets
What we expect from you:
- 1-3 years’ experience in QC roles, preferably from food quality.
- CFGS in quality control or similar.
- Strong know-how and ability in quality control and product samples.
- Strong research and lab skills. High capacity to work independently.
- Fluent in Catalan/Spanish. English seen as an advantage.
