About the role
We are looking for an experienced IT System Engineer - Cloud Platform Architect who enjoys combining technical expertise with strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
Your Responsibilities
* Own and further develop our global cloud platform environment
* Design, implement, operate, and optimize enterprise IT services and cloud architectures
* Drive architecture and governance standards for modern cloud solutions
* Ensure high availability, security, stability, and service quality across platforms
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders worldwide to understand business requirements and deliver scalable IT solutions
* Support automation and standardization initiatives using Infrastructure as Code approaches
* Analyse incidents, coordinate troubleshooting activities, and ensure efficient problem resolution
* Work closely with internal IT teams, external partners, and technology providers
* Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to the continuous evolution of our IT landscape
Your Profile
* Relevant technical education
* Several years of experience with cloud technologies and enterprise architecture (Azure, AWS, etc.)
* Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and hybrid IT environments
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
* Knowledge of container technologies such as Kubernetes is considered a plus
* Passion for innovation and modern technologies
* Strong communication and teamwork skills in an international environment
* Structured, reliable, and proactive working style
* Very good German and English language skills
