EV Business Development Manager – AC Charging
Location: Madrid or Barcelona
Focus: Selling into EV installers and CPOs
Salary €60,000 - €65,000 + Variable + Car
We are looking for a driven EV Business Development Manager to grow our presence across Spain, with a strong focus on EV charging installers and Charge Point Operators (CPOs). This role is ideal for someone with deep commercial experience in the EV charging ecosystem, a strong network in the market, and the ability to build long-term partnerships that drive revenue and adoption.
Role overview
You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across the EV charging value chain. Working closely with internal teams, you will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and solution positioning through to negotiation and account growth.
Key responsibilities
* Develop and execute a business development strategy for Spain, with a focus on installers and CPOs.
* Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities across Madrid, Barcelona
* Lead commercial conversations with technical and procurement stakeholders.
* Understand customer needs and position the right charging, hardware, software, or service solution.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to secure profitable deals.
* Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to support customer growth.
* Represent the company at industry events, partner meetings, and trade shows.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasting and reporting.
What we are looking for
* Proven experience in business development or sales in EV charging, energy, infrastructure, or adjacent technical sectors.
* Strong understanding of the EV charging market in Spain.
* Experience selling to installers, CPOs, partners.
* Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
* Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
* Based in Madrid or Barcelona, with willingness to travel as needed.
* Experience in AC Charging
