We are looking for a Contract Manager (Spain Portugal) to lead, as per their contract expertise, negotiation, commercial tracking, technical and legal risks assessment while maintaining business margins within a high competitive renewable energy market and supporting bid preparation for new projects. The incumbent will interact and negotiate directly with customers in their region. /ppbr/ppstrongResponsibilities: /strong /ppbr/pulliSupport the development of the bidding process and related improvements. /liliAnalyse and assess customer requests for proposal and tenders, considering critical key indicators for the customer and business. /liliWork across the organization, demonstrate strong teamwork skills, lead virtual deal teams and coordinate the overall proposal development, with a focus on the commercial aspects of the project in close cooperation and partnership with the Solutions Engineer, Sales Manager and other functions such as Legal, Commercial Finance, Services and Project Management. /liliActively participate in the development of the commercial strategy for the deal; identify and capture value optimization opportunities. Develop the negotiation strategy with the extended team. /liliPresent the proposal to the customer and take responsibility for drafting and negotiating the equipment and services contracts with our customers, including all terms and conditions, and supporting documents, both in English and Spanish. /liliLead key negotiations with customers and external stakeholders, including third party consultants and legal advisors; drive the proposals to closure. /liliTake informed decisions regarding the proposal; present proposal summaries including a commercial risk and mitigation plan to the risk review board and obtain management approval for all critical items of each transaction. /liliSupport the project execution team in post-contract related modifications related to notices, change/variation orders etc. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongRequirements: /strong /pulliBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university /liliFluent in Spanish and English in speaking and writing /lili10-15 years of experience in negotiating terms and conditions and driving deals to closure /liliStrong process analysis, problem solving and strategy development skills /liliAbility to take critical decisions in the face of limited or conflicting data and under time pressure /liliEnthusiasm for working with customers /liliWillingness and ability to travel and work intensively during negotiation periods /liliExcellent communication skills and confidence with executive level presentations /liliCultural sensitivity to working across time zones and cultures across Europe and Asia /liliDemonstrated teamwork skills and proven leadership skills in virtual project teams /liliExpertise in project finance of renewable projects /liliAbility to manage multiple complex activities simultaneously /liliDedicated to details while keeping the bigger picture in mind /liliAny additional European languages (esp.
