As a
Security Consultant
you will act as a trusted advisor to client IT and business executives, helping them navigate the complex landscape of modern cybersecurity. You will develop comprehensive security strategies that protect traditional on‑premises environments, hybrid infrastructures, and multi‑cloud platforms, aligning technical security controls with business drivers to ensure resilience, compliance, and competitive advantage.
Responsibilities
Define Business Drivers & Strategy:
Partner with stakeholders to identify business‑critical assets, assess current security postures, and identify opportunities for improvement across the entire enterprise ecosystem.
Design Integrated Security Services:
Architect and implement robust security services across multiple domains, including Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), application security, data protection, endpoint security, and network defense.
Hybrid & Multi‑Cloud Security:
Provide guidance on securing cloud‑native workloads as well as hybrid and multi‑cloud architectures, bridging legacy infrastructure with modern cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Implement Comprehensive Solutions:
Lead deployment of security technologies and processes, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or SOC 2.
Drive Security Excellence & Innovation:
Stay ahead of emerging threats, regulatory changes, and technological shifts; provide thought leadership around proactive defense postures and innovative security methodologies such as Zero Trust.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience & Technical Competencies
Professional Experience:
Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity consulting or similar strategic security roles.
Enterprise Exposure:
Proven track record delivering security projects for large‑scale organizations.
Sector Versatility:
Experience across both Public and Private sectors.
Security Strategy & Governance:
Deep expertise in developing comprehensive security strategies for on‑premises, hybrid, and multi‑cloud platforms.
Full‑Stack Security Design:
Extensive design and implementation experience across GRC, application security, data protection, endpoint, and network security.
Solution Implementation:
End‑to‑end implementation of security solutions, aligning with NIST, ISO, CIS, and other international standards.
Threat Landscape & Innovation:
Knowledge of emerging threats and modern technologies, with guidance on Zero Trust, DevSecOps, and automated threat response.
Communication & Advisory:
Strong ability to communicate complex security risks to technical teams and C‑suite executives.
Preferred Technical & Professional Experience
Advanced Certifications:
CISSP, CISM, CISSP-ISSAP, GDSA, Microsoft Certified – Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
Holistic Infrastructure Knowledge:
Understanding of security across legacy data centers and multi‑cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Compliance & Regulatory Frameworks:
Familiarity with GDPR, PCI‑DSS, HIPAA, and local public‑sector regulations.
Modern Security Stack Mastery:
Experience with NGFW, ZTNA, CASB, CSPM, CWPP, IAM, and DLP.
Consulting Soft Skills:
Client‑facing consultancy experience, project management, and digital transformation leadership.
Language:
Fluency in English and Spanish is required; Catalan is considered a plus.
