Overview
As the Supplier Quality Inspector, based in Madrid (Spain), you will be supporting the HUB Europe business, by managing and performing product / process inspections at Grid Substations Suppliers, to ensure the equipment is manufactured according to the organization quality requirements. You will provide advice and training on quality protocols, and conduct audits to ensure supplier compliance with organization, customer and applicable government standards.
How you\'ll make an impact
* Understand the contract, specifications, budget, scope and other relevant project documentation related to the different types of equipment in the scope of business.
* Perform inspections in line with the time schedule and the different contractual milestones, producing the inspection reports according to the project requirements.
* Resolve supplier problems related to quality, performance and service level, by leading NC management activities.
* Identify, estimate and report cost savings or cost avoidance based on outcome of the inspections.
* Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with organization and applicable government standards.

Your background
* Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline.
* 3+ years’ experience in a similar supplier quality inspection role is a plus.
* Well-developed auditing skills and experience. Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) in English. Additional languages are considered a plus.
* Expected 25% minimum travelling required
