An opportunity for an Air Supply Systems Engineer has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the In Service Programs Team within the IYVSE department. We are a dynamic and multidisciplinary team responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement and airworthiness of air supply systems for in‐service aircraft. You will join an environment in direct contact with international suppliers and various key internal stakeholders, taking on the challenge of defining and implementing complex system modifications within the ATA 36 perimeter.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Investigate in‐service events and topics within the Air Supply Systems scope (EBAS, PADS, and OHDS) to ensure the continuous airworthiness of the equipment and systems under the ATA 36 Design Office.
Design and develop new equipment and system modifications for the ATA 36 perimeter as part of the continuous improvement strategy.
Manage the design definition in close liaison with external equipment suppliers, defining validation, verification, and qualification strategies.
Deliver all ATA 36 technical documentation and outputs for specific programs, ensuring compliance with Time, Cost, Quality, and Performance (TCQP) targets.
Execute projects according to relevant development processes and milestones (ABD0200, DARE, TRL processes, etc.).
Collaborate with external suppliers and internal stakeholders (Chief Engineer, Customer Services, Airworthiness, etc.) to ensure consistency across the program.
SKILLS
Education: University degree in Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience: At least 4 years of experience in aircraft systems, with a proven track record in equipment and systems definition, validation, verification, and qualification.
Technical knowledge: Experience dealing with external suppliers and knowledge of aerospace development processes.
Soft skills: Strong communication skills, an agile approach, motivation, and a high willingness to learn.
Languages: Fluent in both English and Spanish.
Valuable / Nice to have: International experience and/or previous experience in customer service will be highly valued.
