You will assist in preparing estimates of STEELGUARD product quantities and specifications, while developing the skills needed to interpret engineering drawings and technical requirements.Working under the guidance of experienced specialists and the wider team, you will receive structured training and mentoring to strengthen your technical knowledge, software proficiency, and communication skills. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate to grow into a specialist, contributing to the success of the GSTC PFP Estimation Team and Sales Team, and helping build the department's reputation for service excellence worldwide.What You Will Be DoingSupport global, regional, and local sales teams by assisting in the preparation of estimates for paint thickness and quantities required for fire protection of steel structuresLearn to coordinate with the project specification team, BDMs, and/or field technical specialists to understand project requirements and recommend suitable product solutionsGain hands-on experience with tools such as Plan Swift for material take-offs and Quantifire for technical calculationsAssist in maintaining and updating the daily project tracker and enquiry registerDevelop technical knowledge in steel structure design, Cellulosic & Hydrocarbon Fire Protection, and passive fire protection principlesCollaborate closely with senior specialists to build confidence in client communication and project handlingSkills and Qualifications We Look ForA degree in Engineering (preferably Civil or Mechanical) or a related disciplineBasic ability to read and interpret engineering or architectural drawings, with a willingness to further develop these skills through training and mentorshipInterest in industries such as construction, steel fabrication, mechanical engineering, or architectureFamiliarity with CAD and Microsoft Office is an advantage (training will be provided)Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to engage professionally with clients and learn from experienced colleaguesA proactive and curious attitude, eager to be trained, supported, and mentored by the teamWillingness to grow technical knowledge in paint technology, STEELGUARD products, and passive fire protection principlesExperience with digital tools such as Plan Swift, Blue Beam, or similar software is highly valuedInterested in starting your career with a global leader in coatings and materials?
