About RELP
RELP is an impact-driven, independent nonprofit organization dedicated to making the deployment of renewable energy cheaper and faster in emerging and developing countries.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Sr Research Associate to join our dynamic, rapidly growing, and innovative organization. The ideal candidate will be autonomous, a fast learner, and proactive.
Responsibilities
* Research and compile information about target countries, including economic context and power market features, to prepare Country Profiles reports.
* Prepare and deliver presentations or reports on topics relevant to identifying and selecting target countries.
* Draft Collaboration Agreements with target countries and relevant stakeholders.
* Prepare materials for signing Collaboration Agreements and meetings with counterparts.
* Prepare reports, white papers, and other documents to support decision-making or enhance understanding of topics.
* Deliver presentations, courses, or seminars to counterparts as part of capacity building activities.
* Prepare and deliver ad-hoc presentations or reports as required by RELP's core team.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Economics.
* Master's in Renewable Energy or related field.
* 7-10 years of experience in research.
* At least 3 years of work experience in the energy sector.
* Professional proficiency in English and French.
* Full-time availability; fully remote position.
