- Permanent opportunity Join a leading Swiss Global Player in Barcelona! We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a Swiss client for their IT hub in Barcelona.
In this role, you will be a key player in transforming raw data into strategic insights, supporting a global organization's decision-making process.
This is a permanent position within a stable, international end-client environment.
Requirements At least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering Cloud Expertise: Mandatory hands-on experience with Azure Cloud.
Mandatory experience in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, SQL, Python.
Bachelor's Degree.
Advanced English is a must Working Mode: Remote.
If residing in Barcelona, office attendance is required once every two weeks.
Responsibilities: Data Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes to prepare data for final analysis and visualization.
Data Modeling: Develop and manage data models that accurately reflect business operations and support reporting needs.
Cloud Management: Work within the Azure ecosystem, managing Microsoft Data Lake and Azure Fabric to ensure seamless data flow.
Optimization: Ensure high system performance and data integrity while monitoring and optimizing Azure costs.
Collaboration: Partner with BI analysts and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical data products.
Quality Assurance: Implement data quality frameworks to ensure high consistency and reliability across all data layers.
