CRM, Customer Success & Marketing Automation Associate – Mautic Specialist
(Remote ‑ CET ± 4 h)
This hybrid role combines hands-on Mautic expertise with multichannel Campaigns and Customer Success coordination across clients, internal devs, and the CEO. You will be the technical marketing operator ensuring campaigns run smoothly and the face of value delivery for our managed deliverability and optimized profitability ESP offering.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Operations & Analytics
* Manage the Mautic stack — installations, upgrades, plugins, security.
* SSH into servers to audit and tune cronjobs (segments, campaigns, webhooks, backups) with Dev-OPS.
* Identify and fix misconfigurations like duplicate triggers or missing workers.
* Query Amazon Athena (SQL) on engagement data to validate KPIs and craft insights.
* Monitor deliverability with tools like InboxTracker, Litmus, and MXToolBox, maintaining inbox placement >95%.
* Integrate Mautic with websites, e-commerce, CDP, BI, and ad platforms via API/Webhooks.
* Customer Success & Coordination
* Act as primary success contact for assigned accounts: schedule stand-ups, gather requirements, translate into tickets, track SLAs.
* Coordinate hand-offs between dev team, CEO, PM, and client; ensure expectations and blockers are clear.
* Present weekly performance reports highlighting growth metrics and next steps.
* Collect feedback and turn it into backlog items or optimization ideas.
* Project Prioritization & Growth
* Co-own JIRA boards with the CEO; prioritize to maximize ROI.
* Run mini-experiments (subject-line tests, segment roll-outs) and measure impact.
* Prospect and scope new customers fitting the 10 MM+ emails/month profile.
Skills & Traits We Value
* 2–4 years in CRM/Marketing Automation, with 1+ year as primary Mautic owner.
* SQL proficiency on Amazon Athena (window functions, partitions, cost control).
* Linux CLI skills: cron, log grep, bash scripting.
* Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to marketers and executives.
* Strong project management skills: attention to detail, organized Kanban, clear definitions of done.
* Kaizen mindset and frugality: iterate fast, deliver value with lean resources.
* Mastery of AI tools (ChatGPT/Copilot) for rapid drafts and queries.
* Bonus: experience with Optimove, Bird.com, Klaviyo, Braze, or Iterable.
* Alignment with Amazon Leadership Principles.

Success Milestones at 30/60/90 Days
* 30 days: Create a new sending domain, configure DNS, warm-up, SES credentials, Mautic settings, document checklist, coordinate with client and DevOps.
* 60 days: Own customer success for a client: 4 weeks of growth in active users, clicks, revenue; conduct weekly syncs, resolve issues proactively.
* 90 days: Manage 3 clients end-to-end with minimal CEO intervention; proactively source and scope a new customer.
