Role Overview
With an exclusive focus on the Nespresso business, you will work in the core Digital Touchpoints team supporting the design of the new e‑commerce technology stack.
As an IT Project Manager you will manage the development or deployment of IT projects, ensuring they deliver expected value to the business partner on time, on budget, on scope and on quality. You will adhere to established Project Management methodologies and maintain constant communication with global and local stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
* Collaborate internally, providing expertise and direction to ensure best‑practice project management across all team projects.
* Create structured projects, implementing IT agile methodologies, developing scope, execution plans and budgets aligned with business objectives.
* Work on resource allocation by interacting with IT Resource Managers and Product Managers to secure appropriate staff.
* Manage project sponsors and stakeholders, ensuring engagement and alignment via steering‑committee meetings and executive status updates.
* Monitor and control project and budget on a day‑to‑day basis, managing scope changes when necessary.
* Prioritise tasks, define responsibilities and monitor dependencies to keep the team focused on delivery.
* Continuously learn and apply new IT project management practices, keeping abreast of the Nespresso PMO processes and IT strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field – or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years as a Project Manager in IT, with 3‑5 years of increasing leadership responsibility.
* Experience working in a global environment with virtual teams.
* Experience in Agile project management.
* Strong written and oral English communication skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
Bonus Points
* Experience with B2C business processes and solutions for ERP, POS or e‑commerce.
* Active participation in Project Management Communities of Practice.
* Certifications in Project Management and Agile Methodologies.
