**The Commercial Manager role**:
As a Commercial Manager at Berneslai Homes, you will provide a strategic commercial lead for our Property Services Repairs Team and Berneslai Homes Management on all commercial aspects within the Property Repairs and Improvement Partnership (PRIP) contract.

You will provide a commercial business acumen, working with our finance team to provide and analyse data and monitor production and operating costs. Provide accurate and timely productivity and performance data driven reports that can support and identify operating improvements.

You will also lead on Property Services Repairs Team commercial performance through the validation of data for PRIP KPI and TSM measures for Berneslai Homes.

**Key duties and responsibilities of our Commercial Manager:

- **
- To act as the commercial authority for the Repairs Team, embedding clear controls, approvals, thresholds and audit trails in line with financial regulations and contract requirements.
- Provide commercial leadership, control and assurance across Property Services Repairs Team (PSRT), ensuring that all works are valued and controlled in line with contract and schedule or rates (SORs).
- Develop and maintain a single, controlled system where prices can be controlled against contract rates, recognised SORs and industry rates, including governance of change, evolving specifications, indexation and variation thresholds.
- Ensure that cost value reconciliation (CVR) works in progress (WIP) and revenue recognition are accurate and timely providing reports to monitor and evidence against value for money, financial control and governance for the in-house service of c.£32m per annum.
- Develop systems to effectively monitor data from ICT management systems (NEC, DRS SAP) to report upon productivity, identifying risks, including working closely with finance business partners to align operational delivery, budgets and forecasts promoting confidence in management accounts.

- A relevant technical professional qualification (Degree or equivalent in Construction, Business or Financial Management)

- Ability to demonstrate a high standard of personal resilience whilst delivering successful under pressure and scrutiny.
