- About the Company and the Department
- The internship will take place within the R&D; department, where multidisciplinary teams collaborate on research and design processes for telecom and hardware-based innovations. The department plays a vital role in supporting engineering activities across the lifecycle of Open RAN and electronics-related projects.
Learning Objectives
- The internship is designed to help the student:
- Understand the complexity of engineering processes through participation in development and design activities.
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams and appreciate the challenges present in R&D; environments.
- Contribute to the simplification of technical processes by proposing ideas and methods inspired by academic knowledge.
- Master documentation techniques for engineering procedures and research deliverables.
- Acquire a strong technical foundation to support future professional development, whether in research or industry roles.
Mentoring and Monitoring
- A company-assigned tutor will provide continuous support and guidance during the internship.
- The student’s progress will be monitored through regular feedback sessions and learning assessments.
- Personalized mentoring will help align technical growth with the student’s academic background and future career interests.
- **Academic Degree**
Students enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Computer Engineering
- Electronics or Electrical Engineering
- Telecommunications or similar degrees
**Required Knowledge and Skills**
- Basic understanding of hardware description languages (e.g., VHDL, Verilog)
- Familiarity with chip development processes and/or C/C++ programming
- Interest in signal processing and instrumentation
- Passion for technology and telecommunications
- Previous experience in programming or hardware design assignments
