About the Role
As Food & Beverage Operations Manager at Nobu Hotel Ibiza, you'll be the driving force behind creating exceptional guest experiences across our premium dining venues, bars, and service areas. This key leadership position oversees multiple F&B; outlets including our signature Mediterranean beachside restaurant Chambao, pool bars, rooftop venue, and room service operations within our iconic Ibiza property.
Your mission is to elevate our service standards while optimizing operational efficiency and fostering team cohesion. You'll be the vital link between our culinary team and front-of-house staff, ensuring seamless coordination that delights our guests at every touchpoint.
Key ResponsibilitiesRestaurant & Service Excellence
- Lead daily operations across all F&B; venues, maintaining impeccable service standards
- Orchestrate seamless coordination between kitchen and service teams to ensure timely delivery
- Optimize reservation systems and manage guest flow, particularly during peak periods
- Monitor guest experience quality and implement strategies to enhance customer loyalty
- Enforce rigorous hygiene and food safety protocols across all F&B; operations
- Mentor and develop service team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Oversee proper venue setup, including furniture arrangement and decorative elements
- Execute special menus and promotional campaigns to drive revenue
- Collect and analyze guest feedback to continuously improve service offerings
Bar & Event Management
- Direct bar operations to ensure outstanding beverage service and guest satisfaction
- Coordinate special events, banquets, and venue activities with meticulous attention to detail
- Supervise cocktail preparation and presentation to maintain the highest quality standards
- Manage beverage inventory to optimize stock levels and prevent disruptions
- Lead bartending staff through ongoing training and professional development
- Oversee private event menu preparation and distribution
- Ensure flawless execution of events from initial setup through completion
- Provide VIP service to distinguished guests and special clients
Room Service & Logistics
- Drive room service operations with a focus on rapid delivery and quality experience
- Coordinate food and beverage logistics across all property areas
- Streamline ordering and delivery processes through effective communication systems
- Collaborate with reception and housekeeping to ensure precise room service delivery
- Maintain optimal product inventory levels across all service areas
- Partner with the head chef on room service menu development and enhancement
- Oversee F&B; distribution for events and common areas throughout the property
Working Relationships
- Reports directly to the Executive Operations Manager
- Supervises floor and bar staff across multiple venues (Chambao, Pools, Rooftop, Room Service)
- Collaborates with General Management, Executive Assistant Manager, Executive Committee
- Maintains relationships with clients and suppliers
- Coordinates with all hotel departments to ensure integrated operations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Extensive experience in luxury hospitality F&B; operations
- Strong understanding of food safety legislation and HACCP implementation
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills
- In-depth knowledge of courtesy protocols and guest service standards
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience with inventory management and operational optimization
