About the Role:
- Translate trendsintocommercialdesignsthat coverfunctional and aestheticneedsforconsumersfollowing the creative direction for the Season setby the Head of Design.
- SupporttheProduct Designteamin understanding the consumer needsbased on the Brief delivered byProduct Management andcoordinateits developmentenhancing design and trends to provide unique, commercial solutions working closely with Product Development and Graphic Design Coordinator.
- Organizeresearch trips and revision trips to suppliers.
- Evaluate the design processevery seasontoenhanceefficiencyand implementimprovements followingLEAN Methodology.
- Ensurethe design calendarisfollowed, key deadlines met and outputs delivered on time.
- Lead theproductdesign teamfostering growth and empowermentas well as executional excellenceand coordinatingand distributingworkloadwhileensuring deadlines are met,products are designed according tobrief andbudget is met.
- Drive material selectionandsupport Purchasing inacquiringtheneededproduct fromsuppliers, ensuringnatural,renewableand recycled materials are used, workingin close cooperationwith the Innovation Engineer.
- Ensure that all designs are meeting briefed FOB targets.
- Support the team ensuringaccurateTechpacks, fittingprocessand style commentsusingPLM, Illustrator and Photoshop.
About you:
- Education: Product Design/Textile formation
- At least5yearsofexperience in product design;possibly inaccessories& apparel.
- A sharp eye on understanding consumer focused product creation in Sport&Lifestyle; environment.
- Good knowledge in Graphic Design & Technics.
- Languages: HighEnglish level spoken and written.
- Other requirements: Good knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator and Pack Office, CLO3D is a plus, any PLM system is a plus. / AnyadditionalAIknowledge would be appreciated.
