Our client is Valmet, a leading global developer and supplier of process technologies, automation, and services for different industries. They are leaders in the pulp, paper, and energy industries, but with their automation systems and flow control solutions, they have presence in many other industries.
We are looking for a dynamic Service Sales Manager to lead Valmet’s Service Center and support the development of their Flow Control Sales team.
The position is based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona and covers the Spanish market.
This role ensures effective and continuously improved after‑sales service delivery and actively works to increase service sales, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and compliance with safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
Key responsibilities
* Collaborate with Sales and Services teams to offer value‑added solutions.
* Improve service performance and establish the operational framework aligned with the service strategy.
* Manage budgets, drive new service business opportunities, and implement service agreements.
* Maintain an accurate Installed Base to support maintenance development.
* Lead and develop the service team to ensure high standards.
* Engage proactively with customers and promote strict compliance with the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Required qualifications
* Degree in Engineering or a related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in after‑sales management or service operations within industrial sectors.
* Knowledge in contract management and customer service processes.
* Good level of English (mandatory).
