Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
- Experienced in large-scale projects for at least 12 years.
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
- In-depth understanding of QA/QC principles and practices.
- Proficient in quality inspection techniques and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide inter-departmental coordination and healthy information flow, strong business follow-up.
- Ability to lead and mentor QA/QC teams.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent in English.
- Holding a valid work permit in Spain.
Responsibilities
- Take the necessary measures to maintain the unit in line with the envisaged objectives, strategies, policies/procedures and approved budget, plans and programs.
- Follow the project quality program, test and inspection plans and ensure that the works are carried out according to the contract, specifications, drawings, procedures and standards.
- Ensure the creation and management of Quality Management System documents (Procedure, Application Methods, Material Approvals, Test and Inspection Plans, Quality Records) that meet the project requirements.
- Plan and control the realization of the necessary activities according to the inspection and test plans.
- Follow up on the test reports of the Field Laboratory and 3rd-party organizations.
- Plan and perform project and subcontractor Quality Internal audits.
- Ensure that the necessary records are kept and managed for the delivery of work.
- Control typical, periodic and preliminary tests and execute documents that determine product quality.
- Operational control at all stages of the construction process.
- Monitor, analyze and report quality performance data.
- Control the acceptance, use and storage of incoming materials according to material approvals, standards and specifications, and manage the process.
- Manage nonconforming products, nonconformities, ensure corrective and preventive actions are carried out and coordinate the closing process.
- Control the calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
