Overview
Research Assistant I/II (Molecular Biology) in the School of Biomedical Sciences at The University of Hong Kong. The post may commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Responsibilities
* Work on research projects relating to cancer immunology and T cell biology.
* Carry out experiments in molecular biology and cell culture as required by the project.
* Maintain accurate records, analyze data, and contribute to lab meetings and dissemination of results.
* Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors.
Qualifications
* Applicants should possess a Master’s or a Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Biomedical Science or a related discipline.
* Previous experience in cell culture and molecular biology is required.
* Good communication skills; highly motivated, willing to learn new techniques, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
* Those with experience in, or strong interest in, immunology, molecular biology, structural biology, and protein engineering skills would have an advantage.
