Overview Cloud Data Architect - Manager - EY GDS Spain - Hybrid. EY GDS Spain is a member of EY's global integrated service delivery center network. The opportunity offers the chance to work with the most advanced technology stack on international projects within a global team.
Your Role As a Cloud Data Architect you will be responsible for designing the solution architecture for the organization in a cloud environment.
Responsibilities Design and deliver cloud-based data architectures and solution architectures in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions
Develop reliable solution plans in cooperation with business and multi-disciplinary teams, including cost estimation and delivery approaches
Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives and interact with specialists, product/project managers, and partners globally
Qualifications 8+ years of professional, hands-on experience building complex solutions
3+ years in an Architect role including designing and building complex data solutions
3+ years’ experience with Azure or AWS cloud products and services
Understanding of data fabric, data mesh, and data vault concepts
Ability to facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions
Experience creating reliable solution plans with business cooperation and multi-disciplinary teams
Demonstrated strategic thinking with ability to research client inquiries, regulatory considerations, and new technologies
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Ideally, you’ll also have Hands-on experience with BI/ETL/Big Data technologies
Strong understanding of relational database design techniques
Experience with data lakes
Experience with real-time data processing and data warehousing aggregation
