Your mission
As a
Mechanical Production Engineer
, you will play a key role in the
production of SATLANTIS' optical payloads
. Your work will ensure that
mechanical components and structures are manufactured, assembled, and delivered
to the highest standards of
quality, reliability, and precision
.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Lead and monitor mechanical production processes, including structure assembly, preparation of materials, and ensuring process traceability.
* Contribute to the industrialization and optimization of mechanical production workflows, applying lean techniques and advanced manufacturing procedures.
* Ensure compliance with quality standards, tolerances, and technical requirements (such as ECSS), documenting results and corrective actions.
* Coordinate the scheduling and execution of production activities, ensuring alignment with project deadlines and close collaboration with other departments.
* Collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams—participating in design reviews, stock control, and internal audits—to ensure smooth production and continuous improvement.
* Prepare and maintain updated technical documentation, work instructions, and production reports, including process procedures, plans, and non-conformities.
What will set you up for success
* 1–3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical production or manufacturing engineering in an industrial environment; experience in aerospace, defense, or similarly rigorous industries will be especially valuable.
* Clear and effective communication skills to ensure alignment and shared understanding across teams.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering, or related disciplines.
* Fluent command of English, both spoken and written, enabling collaboration in international contexts.
