FOOD SERVICE SPECIALIST (FORMADOR) – Zona Norte
The role is to act as a bridge between the food manufacturer and the commercial network. Key responsibilities include training distributors and sales teams on product knowledge, improving HORECA business profitability, and supporting sales visits with product arguments.
Responsibilities
* Conduct product training for distributors and sales teams on technical characteristics, ingredients and benefits.
* Develop and deliver sales arguments tailored to restaurants, hotels and catering services.
* Perform live cooking demonstrations to showcase product versatility and preparation times.
* Advise distributors on menu engineering to increase margin.
* Identify operational efficiencies and cost‑saving opportunities in restaurants.
* Provide trade‑marketing support: design catalogs, technical sheets, promotions, competitor analysis.
* Deliver technical and commercial assistance for product queries, stock management and distribution issues.
* Ensure distributors adhere to food safety and handling regulations.
Qualifications
* Professional background in cooking or food technology.
* Experience in product training and sales support.
* Strong commercial orientation and communication skills.
* Ability to travel extensively across Galicia, León, Asturias, Cantabria and PaísVasco, with overnight stays.
* Residence in Asturias, Cantabria or surrounding area preferred.
* Autonomous, proactive with leadership potential and client‑focused mindset.
* Adaptable, analytical, creative, and results‑driven.
