We are seeking a driven professional as the Managing Director to lead their business and team is Spain expanding the retail strategy.
The MD is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire P&L; with 8 direct reports. This role, reporting to the Global CEO, has direct responsibility for the Sales, Marketing, Finance, I+D, Logistics team. The objective of the role is to ensure the retail strategy, service level excellence, inventory optimization, production alignment, and cost-efficient logistics operations while supporting the company’s growth and operational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Spanish affiliate focused on retail strategy.
- Implement and manage robust processes in collaboration with International.
- Drive the expansion.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve planning reliability.
- Translate commercial forecasts into actionable plans.
- Implement best practices in business development.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with top clients.
- Identify automation and digitalization opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a major in business or a related.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Retail industry, working for multinational companies, with a role as BU lead, strong business mentality, and people leadership approach.
- Work experience in European Matrix environments is required.
- Excellent skills in team building and development.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
