Overview
Customer Service Representative II, Institutional Markets at Corebridge Financial. Provides personalized and professional service to participants of Structured Settlements. Works with inquiries from annuitants received via mail, fax, or telephone, with possible follow-up to obtain missing or inaccurate information. Demonstrates good judgment and understanding of Structured Settlement procedures. As part of Corebridge Financial, you will operate within a broad portfolio of life insurance, retirement, and institutional products, supported by a multichannel distribution network and a client-centered service approach.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer phone calls and written inquiries related to Structured Settlements.
- Participate in monthly peer reviews to evaluate call quality.
- Research, analyze, and respond to moderate customer service inquiries within established standards.
- Enter data for customer service requests in accordance with department quality guidelines.
- Handle high-priority requests promptly and accurately.
- Respond to participant correspondence and emails, delivering high-quality service that exceeds expectations.
- Assist with completion of paperwork supporting various benefit transactions via phone or mail.
- Process change requests (e.g., address, EFTs) within department standards.
- Ensure benefits are maintained so payments reach payees correctly.
- Prioritize duties and manage time effectively to coordinate tasks and workload.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of insurance experience, preferably with immediate or deferred annuity products.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Customer- and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask and manage high workload with tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Windows.
- Some college preferred but not mandatory.
- Bi-lingual is a plus.
Work Location
This position is currently remote but can be based in Amarillo, TX, in accordance with hybrid policy allowing in-office and remote work.
Compensation
Anticipated salary range: $30,000 to $35,000 at start. Presente compensation depends on location, skills, experience, and other qualifications. Eligible for a discretionary bonus per the applicable incentive plan.
