We are supporting a well esteemed client of ours searching for a Cloud Solution Architect in Spain for a 12 month extendable contract.
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies and open-source databases.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure SQL/SQL Server, and open-source database platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures for enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities: Solution Design & Architecture: Develop end-to-end cloud architecture solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services.
Design and implement data analytics platforms leveraging Microsoft Fabric Power BI for advanced reporting and visualization.
Database Management: Architect and optimize Azure SQL/SQL Server solutions for high availability and performance.
Integrate and manage open-source databases (Postgre SQL, My SQL) within Azure environments.
Cloud Strategy & Governance: Define best practices for cloud adoption, security, and compliance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud solutions with business objectives.
Technical Requirements: Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Fabric Power BI expertise.
Strong experience with Azure SQL and SQL Server administration and optimization.
Proficiency in open-source databases (Postgre SQL, My SQL) hosted on Azure.
Solid understanding of cloud security, data governance, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse, Storage, Networking).
Preferred Skills: Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and analytics solutions.
Knowledge of Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. xpzdshu
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and solution design.
Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Power BI Data Analyst) are a plus
