The SAP Security Architect (m/f/d) is responsible for designing and maintaining a secure SAP landscape that aligns with coporate information security strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP systems and modules, as well as the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure robust protection against evolving threats.
Creating passion: your responsibilities
* Lead the technical design and development of secure SAP architectures, covering access control, data protection and threat mitigation
* Define and enforce SAP security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization in alignment with the Information Security Framework
* Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate security controls within SAP environments based on risk
* Evaluate SAP security technologies and solutions
* Identify and drive security enhancements in SAP platforms (e.g. S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Fiori)
* Collaborate closely with SAP development, engineering, IT operations and compliance teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the SAP lifecycle
* Adopt and promote a security-by-design approach with the different stakeholders
* Actively contribute to the Coporate Information Security architecture community, sharing insights and best practices
* Stay current with SAP security trends, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements
Contributing your strengths: your qualifications
* Bachelor's/Master's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on SAP environments
* Following certificates are preferred; CISSP, CISM or SAP certifications
* English is a Must, German and French are a plus
* Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST)
* Deep expertise in SAP security best practices, including user and role management, authorization concepts and secure configuration
* In-depth understanding of SAP S/4HANA, RISE, ECC and other SAP modules, and their security implications
* Experience designing secure architectures for both cloud-based and on-premise SAP deployments
* Familiarity with Enterprise Access Management (EAM) and Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions
