The Oliva Nova Equestrian Center, home of the prestigious Mediterranean Equestrian Tour (MET) — one of Europe's most recognized international show jumping circuits — is looking for a Stable Manager passionate about the equestrian world, with strong leadership skills and the ability to ensure excellent stable and competition management.
Position Mission
Ensure the well‐being of clients and their horses within the stables by managing box allocations, reservations, and horse registrations. Guarantee a safe, organized, and fully functional environment during competitions and training periods.
Main Responsibilities
Prepare the stable plan before each competition, coordinating with the reservations department and addressing clients' specific needs.
Manage horse check‐in and check‐out, including accurate registration of horses and vehicles.
Maintain up‐to‐date information in the internal Stable App.
Supervise the allocation of boxes and tack rooms, and coordinate supply delivery upon clients' arrival.
Inspect trucks, trailers, electrical connections, and assigned areas to ensure facilities are in optimal condition.
Coordinate external service providers: mechanical assistance, manure removal, cleaning, and stable maintenance.
Organize cleaning and closure of boxes after horse departures.
Assist in the organization of veterinary inspections during competitions.
Lead the stable team, ensuring compliance with cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures.
Handle and resolve incidents in the stables with professionalism and efficiency.
Requirements
Intermediate English; additional languages are an asset.
Forklift license highly valued.
Basic knowledge of horses and equestrian competitions.
Minimum 1 year of experience in equestrian events or similar environments.
Ability to work under pressure with organization, initiative, and strong customer service orientation.
