SCIB SCIB/SDS is looking for a Jira and Agile Process Advisor, based in our Madrid office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Jira and Agile Process Advisor, you will be responsible to optimizing our use of Jira and implementing Agile methodologies across our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, ensure efficient product management, and foster continuous improvement in our process. Your expertise in Jira and Agile frameworks such as Scrum, kanban and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) will be crucial to our success.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Jira Administration and Optimization
- Configure and customize Jira to align with the organization’s product management tools
- Develop and maintain workflows, dashboards and reports in Jira
- Provide training and support to team members on Jira best practices
- Agile Methodology Implementation
- Lead the adoption and implementation of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban,etc.) across teams.
- Facilitate Quartely Business Reviews (QBR) to ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Develop and maintain organization-wide Agile practices, ensuring consistency and efficency
- Process Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and product delivery
- Use data-driven insights from Jira to recommend changes and optimizations
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and Agile metrics
- Training and coaching
- Mentor and coach teams on Agile principles and practices
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on Jira and Agile methodologies
- Develops and update training materials and documentation
- Server as a point of contact for Jira and Agile process related queries and issues
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Jira administration, including configuring and customizing workflows, dashboards, reports
- Proven track record of 5+ years in implementing and managing Agile methodologies at a team level including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience in conducting training sessions, workshops, and coaching on Agile practices and Jira usage for diverse teams and stakeholders.
EDUCATION
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related field is required
- Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Kanban System Design (KSD) or equivalent
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Expertise in configuring, customizing and optimizing Jira for organizational needs
- Knowledge of Agile Frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban and QBR, with a focus on organization-wide implementation
- Strong ability to identify, develop and implement process improvements for enhanced productivity and efficiency
- Proficiency in using data-driver insights to monitor Agile metrics and KPIs, and make informed recommendations
- Experience in mentoring and coaching teams on Agile principles and Jira best practices
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams
