In this Senior Collections Specialist role, you ensure timely cash collection for a portfolio while enforcing payment terms with strong customer relationships. You monitor accounts, provide accurate reporting and cash-flow forecasts, and support compliance and audit requirements. You will collaborate with centralized teams in Barcelona and India to stabilize processes and drive improvements. Your work shapes financial stability and reduces risk by resolving discrepancies and maintaining data quality. This role offers the chance to influence collections strategy in a cross-functional, analytics-driven environment.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Own accounts receivable collection performance for selected customers
• Manage cash collection, account reconciliation, and customer relationships for key accounts
• Contact customers and execute activities via automated workflow or own judgment
• Resolve unallocated cash and credit requiring reconciliation and/or customer contact
• Support centralized functions in Barcelona and India (cash apps; disputes)
• Attend monthly reviews and prepare business metrics for SSC leadership
• Adhere to SLAs and monitor/KPI performance
• Ensure compliance with process design, data quality, and policy
• Initiate improvements to policies and processes
Responsabilidades
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in cash collection
• Experience with complex customer accounts
• Dispute resolution and management experience
• Experience with collection software and automated workflow
• Knowledge of Oracle or xpzdshu SAP or similar
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Excellent communication, persuasion and negotiation skills
• Experience in a Shared Service environment
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working across different levels of the company
