The Role
We are looking for an exceptional
Country Operations Manager
to spearhead Domes Resorts’ expansion into Spain.
This senior leadership position carries the full accountability of a Hotel General Manager across our portfolio in the country, and the primary bridge between the properties and Domes Group leadership.
As Country Operations Manager, you will take complete ownership of the properties’ performance, culture, and guest experience, while embodying the Domes philosophy of warmth, elegance, and curated luxury.
This is a rare opportunity to build and shape Domes’ presence in one of Europe’s most vibrant and fast‑growing luxury hospitality markets.
Key Accountabilities
Define and execute the strategic vision for Domes’ hotel operations in Tenerife, aligned with Group objectives
Support the annual business plan, operating budget, and capex plan, ensuring delivery of pre‑agreed targets
Represent and champion the Domes brand in the Canary Islands, building relationships with key stakeholders and tourism authorities
Oversee all hotel departments (Rooms, F&B;, Spa & Wellness, and Engineering) ensuring world‑class operations at all times
Ensure consistent delivery of Domes’ luxury service standards across every guest touchpoint
Manage brand partner relationships and ensure full compliance with brand standards and audit requirements
Drive regular property inspections, performance reviews, and quality assurance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Maintain top‑tier guest satisfaction scores, and review platform rankings
Partner with Group Commercial and Sales teams to maximize total revenue across all departments
Deliver monthly reports and forecasts to Group ownership and senior corporate leadership
Lead and develop a high‑performing senior management team, building a culture of accountability and excellence
Foster an inclusive, engaging workplace that reflects Domes’ values of passion, humbleness, and perseverance
Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular appraisals, and implement recognition programs that retain top talent
Requirements
Technical
Minimum 7 years of progressive luxury hospitality management experience, with at least 5 years in a Hotel General Manager or equivalent senior leadership role
Demonstrated track record of leading 5‑star resort or hotel operations
Prior experience within internationally branded hotel groups (Marriott, Hilton, or similar) is a strong advantage
Strong financial acumen;
adept at interpreting P&L; statements and translating insight into commercially impactful decisions
Fluency in English is essential;
proficiency in Spanish is a significant advantage;
xhfqzwm Greek language skills are a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
postgraduate qualification preferred
Existing knowledge of the Tenerife or Canary Islands hospitality market is considered a distinct advantage
