Responsibilities
* Develop and standardize the electrical design of our commercial wind-assisted propulsion systems.
* Create electrical schematics for control cabinets and integrate onboard equipment.
* Draft technical documentation including design reports, manufacturing instructions, test procedures (FAT/SAT), installation manuals, and quality specifications.
* Prepare bills of materials (BoMs) and coordinate with suppliers and the purchasing team to source components.
* Oversee the manufacturing of electrical systems and provide support during installation.
* Collaborate with maritime classification societies on equipment certification processes.
Required Competencies
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification (including FP with relevant experience).
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design.
* Previous experience in the naval industry will be highly valued.
* Solid experience working with EPLAN or similar electrical design tools.
* Knowledge of electrical systems in machinery or industrial automation.
* Experience in marine systems and with classification societies (e.G., DNV, Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, ABS).
* Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
* A proactive, hands-on attitude with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
