At ASTEK Iberia, we are looking for a Application Production Support to join a leading company in the banking sector. You will play a key role in ensuring system stability, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical banking systems.
Main responsibilities
- Production support for core banking applications / Application maintenance (corrective and evolutive).
- Deployments and testing for new projects.
- Obsolescence management and patching activities.
- Handling user requests and internal client support.
- Supporting both On-Premises solutions and third-party SaaS solutions.
- Answering product‑related queries, including: Product usage and design, Configuration, Software updates, Third‑party integrations
- Managing tickets via ServiceNow and JIRA.
- Working under ITIL methodology and ensuring SLA compliance.
- Performance tuning and root cause analysis.
Technical Environment
- Operating Systems: Windows Server / Linux
- Databases: SQL / Oracle
- Tools & Technologies: ServiceNow, Jira, DynaTrace, PowerShell, Autosys, CyberArk, Citrix, HVD
- Collaboration tools: Teams / Outlook
Who are you?
- 3–5 years of experience in Production/Application Support.
- Experience in banking or critical environments (highly valued).
- Solid knowledge of: SQL / Oracle (basic-to-intermediate DBA level), Windows & Linux Servers
- ITIL framework: Experience working with SLAs.
- Good level of english.
- Availability to go one day a week to the offices located in Madrid.
