St. Paul's School, Barcelona, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our Early Years team (I3 to PRI2) on a full-time, permanent basis, starting on 1 September 2026. About the role The successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers to support the learning and wellbeing of our youngest students in a dynamic, nurturing and international environment. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the class teacher in the daily management of the classroom. Assisting with the preparation and organisation of learning materials and activities. Supervising students during playground, lunch and transition times. Providing individual or small-group support to pupils when required. Contributing to the creation of a positive, safe and engaging learning environment. Collaborating effectively with teachers and other members of the Early Years team. Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who: Is passionate about working with young children. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Is proactive, organised and able to work collaboratively within a team. Demonstrates a caring, positive and professional attitude. Requirements Native-level English speaker preferred. Alternatively, an excellent command of English (C2 level or equivalent). Previous experience working with children in an educational setting will be highly valued. Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or Additional Learning Needs. Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, psychology, special education or related fields. Knowledge of inclusive education practices and strategies to support diverse learners will be highly valued. Legal authorisation to work in Spain. What We Offer Permanent full-time contract.
