About the Position
We’re looking for an experienced HR Specialist (Labor Relations) to join a leading multinational logistics facility in Illescas, Castile-La Mancha, Spain. The role supports employees, ensures regulatory compliance, and contributes to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Respond to HR-related inquiries and handle complaints, especially regarding payroll and leaves.
- Manage disciplinary actions, including drafting and communicating them to employees.
- Oversee absenteeism and coordinate with the occupational health provider (Mutua).
- Monitor and track employee leaves.
- Process meal voucher requests.
- Prepare union meetings: review minutes, draft proposals for employee representatives, and manage pre- and post-meeting communications.
- Support salary negotiations.
- Update internal policies inline with the Workers’ Statute and Collective Bargaining Agreement to ensure legal compliance.
- Review the annual salary market study and contribute relevant data gathered from daily operations.
- Conduct competency evaluations, including communication, follow-up, and analysis.
- Manage employee motivation surveys: communication, tracking responses, analyzing results, and drafting improvement plans.
- Participate in recruitment processes.
Qualifications
- Degree in Law, Labor Relations, or proven experience as an HR generalist with strong legal knowledge.
- B2-level English proficiency, essential for daily communication with headquarters.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Experience in the logistics sector, particularly in warehouse environments.
